It is a privilege to speak at the luncheon of theThird World Peace Forum. 我很荣幸在第三届世界和平论坛午餐会上演讲。
As I’ve noticed, China’s foreign policy has drawnmuch attention from the international community asthe country continues to grow. Therefore, I wish totake this opportunity to share with you mythoughts on the following questions.
我注意到，随着中国的发展，国际社会对中国对外政策十分关注。我想借今天的机会，同大家分享我对几个问题的看法。
First, has China changed its foreign policy?
一、中国外交政策有没有改变？
Since the introduction of reform and opening up, China’s foreign policy has been stable andconsistent. We are firmly committed to an independent foreign policy of peace. We are firmlycommitted to developing comprehensive and friendly cooperation with all countries on thebasis of the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence. And we are firmly committed to upholdingour sovereignty, security and development interests. We are determined, in line with China’sfundamental interests and the trend of peace, development and win-win cooperation, topursue a new path of peaceful development by a major country. That is to say, we strive todevelop ourselves through securing a peaceful international environment and maintain andpromote world peace through our own development. We want the world’s opportunities towork for China and China’s opportunities to work for the world, and amidst such sound andwin-win interaction, pursue peaceful development. For more than three decades, China hasseen 10% growth rate per annum. Its economic aggregate has grown from US$216.5 billion in1978 to US$9.2 trillion in 2013, or from 1% to 12% of the world’s total. With that, China hasbecome the second largest economy in the world. And in those same 30 years and more, Chinalifted over 600 million of its people out of poverty, contributing over 70% to global povertyreduction efforts. These achievements clearly show that China’s foreign policy is not only astrong backing for China’s development but also an important contribution to world peace andprosperity. We have no reason to change what has been proven to be the right policy.

中国物流与采购联合会、理指数（PMI）为50.8%，比上月上升0.4个百分点。该指数连续3个月上升，升幅有所提高；新订单指数、购进价格指数等主要分项指数回升明显，幅度超过1个百分点，反映市场需求改善，企业开工率趋升，经济运行进一步向好。
第三届中国（北京）国际服务贸易交易会6月1日闭幕。的交易会，本届京交会共达成签约项目236个，意向签约额818.3亿美元，比第二届增长4%。
国务院总理李克强6月3日下午在人民大会堂同科威特首相贾比尔举行会谈。李克强表示，科威特是最早同中国建交的海湾阿拉伯国家，两国业已成为相互信赖的好朋友和真诚合作的好伙伴。
中国常驻联合国代表团副代表王民2日向联合国秘书长交存了中国政府接受定书》多哈修正案的接受书。多哈修正案于2012年12月8日在卡塔尔多哈通过。多哈修正案就《京都议定书》第二承诺期作出安排，为《联合国气候变化框架公约》附件一所列缔约方规定了量化减排指标，使其整体在2013年至2020年承诺期内将温室气体的全部排放量从1990年水平至少减少18%。
国家统计局数据显示，4月份70个大中城市住宅销售价格环比下降的城市继续增加，且首次出现区域性价格回调。与2013年同期相比，70个大中城市新建商品住宅和二手住宅价格同比综合平均涨幅4月份比3月份分别回落1.3和0.3个百分点，延续了涨幅收窄的趋势。
阿里研究院发布《2013中国城市电子商务发展指数报告》，评选出“2013年中国电子商务发展百佳城市”榜单，深圳、广州和杭州名列前三。据介绍，榜单是阿里研究院对全国294个地级及以上样本城市的电子商务发展测度调研的基础上生成的。
中国教育在线6月4日发布的《2014年高招调查报告》显示：连续下降5年后首次出现反弹，增长27万人，达到939万人，生源下降带来的高校生存危机似乎得到缓解，但更深层次的危机已经出现，高校必须积极应对，特色办学、转型发展势在必行。
席开幕式并发表题为《弘扬丝路精神，深化中阿合作》的重要讲话。习近平表示，当前，中阿都面临实现民族振兴的共同使命和挑战。希望双方弘扬丝绸之路精神，以共建丝绸之路经济带和21世纪海上丝绸之路为新机遇新起点，不断深化全面合作、共同发展的中阿战略合作关系。

今天，我很高兴出席在我的母校清华大学举行的“世界和平论坛”开幕式。首先，我谨对论坛的开幕表示热烈的祝贺！向各位嘉宾和专家学者致以诚挚的问候！
“世界和平论坛”是中国举办的第一个高级别非官方国际安全论坛。论坛的主题“各方共赢：和平、安全、合作”，是攸关当今世界前途命运和各国人民幸福安康的重大课题，就此展开深入研讨和交流，将为促进世界和平与安全提供新思路、探索新办法、作出新贡献。
女士们、先生们！
当今世界正处于大发展大变革大调整时期，国际形势正发生着极为深刻复杂的变化。世界多极化、经济全球化深入发展，科技革命孕育新的突破，社会信息化影响越来越大，国际社会相互联系、相互依存更加紧密，新兴市场国家和发展中国家不断发展壮大。所有这一切，已经和正在深刻影响和改变着世界格局，并给各国发展和国际关系带来深远影响。
