有一天，一只小蚂蚁在举重比赛得了第一名！他骄傲地对大家说：“我在举重比赛中得了第一！以后我看见什么吃的东西都我自己来搬，不用你们搬！”大家听了，在底下纷纷议论：“他得了第一名，就瞧不起人家了。哼，以后我们再也不理他了。是呀„„”
第二天，小蚂蚁看见一个非常大的苹果。他就想：这是我见过的最大的东西。如果我一个人把它搬回家，那他们一定会羡慕死的！小蚂蚁想到这。立刻行动起来。他左搬搬，右搬搬，怎么也搬不动。小蚂蚁伤心的哭了。
就在这时，几只蚂蚁看见了，对他说：“你是不是为搬不动苹果而烦恼？如果是的话，我们帮你搬回家。”说完，就立刻行动起来。一只搬搬那儿，一只搬搬这儿，大家齐心协力。终于苹果被搬了起来。他们帮小蚂蚁把苹果搬回了家。
回到家，小蚂蚁对大家说：“我们以后做事一起做，有吃的大家一起分享。你们说，好吗？”大家听了，立刻欢呼起来。
小朋友，这个故事告诉我们一个道理：人不能骄傲，人多力量大，再难的事都能做好。你可不能像那只小蚂蚁一样骄傲哟！
